Summary

The Shannon Garda Station was in bad need of a total make-over. From electrical to entrances, there was a need to modernise and refurbish. This was an exciting project involving a broad spectrum of works – all of which had to be done ‘live’, without interrupting the running of the garda station in any way.

The project included:

• Installation of cell door frames
• Demolishing of existing cell walls
• Removal of existing ceilings
• Construction of new walls
• Installation of cell windows and doors
• Plastering of internal cell walls and corridors
• Installation of ceiling grids
• Painting of cells and corridors
• Mechanical and Electrical Upgrade
• New external drainage
• New entrance ramp at rear entrance
• Installation of new resin flooring system.
